All welcome for my October exhibition at the Railway Station arts hub of the Avoca Community Arts and Gardens, at Gallery 127, Avoca. This art exhibition will be featuring landscapes, portraits, and abstract paintings. The landscapes are mainly of the beautiful breath-taking blue Pyrenees Ranges in the Pyrenees Wine Region of Victoria.
Dawn’s abstract wins prize
A win for an abstract painting in the Hydrocryl Prize in Ozartfinder
Dawn had a win with her painting in OzArtFinder, an Australian website for artists in the contemporary and abstract section. It is good to see Australian art websites that support local artists and another one in particular, Bluethumb has been selling a lot of Dawn’s art to Australians.
In reviewing Dawn’s artwork, Ron Reynolds commented “Shrouded Cloisters is a moody introspective painting, limited palette of blacks and greys and shapes that are fixed and others moving.” (http://www.ozartfinder.com/news/hydrocryl-winners/)
Dawn is showing a new art exhibition of landscapes and portraits.
Dawn was featured in a nice article in the local newspaper, The Pyrenees Advocate in her latest art exhibition at the Beaufort Art Trax along with another district artist Maggie. The exhibition is on for a month and had its opening last weekend.
Rainbow Gallery Cafe has it’s own website now
to facilitate bookings and serve upcoming events and dinner parties. It has a blog also where newsworthy items can be shared.
We went with the creation of a website so as to spread the news of our restaurant and events, as Facebook do not reach to all our customers and some do not like Facebook at all.
We have decided to separate from our affiliated accommodation facility, Moonbeam Cottages so as to concentrate our resources on the restaurant and because we are a separate business. Although we still offer our art retreat packages with Moonbeam Cottages but not restricted to it alone. Our guests can arrange for alternative accommodation venues too.
