A showing of my latest artworks

I will be putting on an art exhibition of my latest artworks in Avoca for October 2017.

Dawn October art exhibition

All welcome for my October exhibition at the Railway Station arts hub of the Avoca Community Arts and Gardens, at Gallery 127, Avoca. This art exhibition will be featuring landscapes, portraits, and abstract paintings. The landscapes are mainly of the beautiful breath-taking blue Pyrenees Ranges in the Pyrenees Wine Region of Victoria.

W.I.P, Portrait

When I saw one of the first portraits , ( posted here 2013),  that I’d painted in over 20 yrs, worn out and fading I decided to give my young friend,  another. I’ve enjoyed painting it very much and had the same opportunity, as I have begun with the chakma people , to use my gift for the benefit of  others  Makes me feel good about it, at this stage of my life. Only have the shirt to finish and some shading on the forehead.

portrait of my mum

This is another of Dawn’s old painting of her mum when she was 16. It was one of Dawn’s strongest portrait that was a very good likeness of her and was one of the many portraits that Dawn was doing at the time. Dawn was also concentrating on landscapes at the time. She did quite a few at Amphitheatre, Victoria.
